I am offering small group tutoring sessions based around the Edexcel IAS course – covering Pure Mathematics 1 and 2 and Mechanics 1.
I focus on delivering a thorough understanding of why the Maths problems we explore have certain answers – what they mean graphically and how different steps and concepts relate to each other.
Not just providing a method for obtaining answers, though that is of course equally important.
By taking this approach students are better equipped to solve higher level questions which don’t always fit the standard format of previous years and have a better foundation for further mathematical study
