  • 1. How do I interact with the tutor?

    Interaction with the teachers can be done either during the lesson using the online teaching platform (ZOOM) which allows both chat and voice communication or through sending private messages/emails to the teacher during other times.

  • 2. Is there interaction with other students?

    In group classes, students will have the opportunity to network with each other through the platform. Moreover, there will be networking session at which students are put together in a meeting where they get to know each other and create an active community that would benefit them both socially and academically.

  • 3. Are there group projects with online courses?

    Some subjects will require group projects to be done as assessments. These projects involve a group of students working together on a project that would be submitted and presented by the group to the tutor. This is important and beneficial as it will develop teamwork ethic and allow students to communicate and network with each other, a skill that is required in every field.

  • 4. Are we going to be provided with exams or tests?

    As part of assessments, students will be tested regularly after completing each part of the syllabus of a subject. These tests are designed to test the students’ knowledge and understanding. Moreover, there will be final exams for each subject to students that have completed all of the contents of a course.

  • 5. How are payments made?

    Payments are made online through our secure website using credit/debit cards.

  • 6. How many students are in the group classes?

    Group classes range from 2-9 students in each session although this might vary depending on the demand of a subject.

  • 7. How many classes can I take?

    You can take as many classes as you are capable of.

  • 8. How do I enroll and register?

    Enrollment and registration is done online on the website. After choosing the course and the tutor you are requested to fill in your details which include your name, email address, date of birth etc. and then you are directed to the payment window after which you will be sent details about your registration and login information.

  • 9. What are the technical requirements for an online course?

    Courses and teaching will be online through online platforms which involve ZOOM and Microsoft Teams. Minimum requirements can be found at: here

  • 10. How do I get access to the class materials?

    Class materials will be delivered to you by the tutor. Tutors are required to send their session notes to student. These will be either sent to your email address or will be available online in your account on Your Best Tutors website.

  • 11. How will I be graded?

    Grading will vary considerably depending on the course, number of sessions, and level of academic course (GCSE, A levels etc.). Courses will be graded depending on homework submission, test results, exam results, participation and any other assessment forms such as group presentations or projects.
