About me

I am an enthusiastic and qualified English teacher. My passion is teaching English and especially IELTS. I have worked with students of all ages at different educational stages. I hold a BA degree in ELT, an MA in TEFL, a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and a DELTA (from the University of Cambridge). I have been teaching English face to face and online for more than 18 years in various EFL and ESL settings. I worked as an English teacher at 2 Language Schools for 4 years and as an EAP, ESP and IELTS lecturer at two universities for 12 years, teaching both monolingual and multilingual classes. I am experienced in teaching KET (A2), PET (B1), FCE (B2) and IELTS (C1) to heterogeneous groups. I am also experienced in planning, devising, creating and applying instructional materials and learning tasks that address a variety of learning styles and multiple intelligences. To keep learners motivated and self-confident and to help them improve their English language skills, I design and deliver lessons that are communicative, interesting and exciting using a variety of visual, interactive and authentic materials. I encourage learners to reflect and self-assess, plan their learning and take ownership of their development.
