About me

Hi, my name is Paul Murphy and I'm from Ireland. I have lots of experience teaching general English classes and IELTS too. I've taught IELTS in schools in London and Italy. My students have had success at IELTS as well as Cambridge PET, KET and FCE and the Trinity GESE speaking exam. I'm also an accredited Cambridge examiner for PET, KET and FCE. I have a BA (Hons) from the University of Warwick and an MA from Queens University Belfast. My MA was published in Australia as 'T.S.Eliot's Postmodernist Complaint'. This book can be sourced at any of the big academic libraries in Australia and online. I have experience of teaching Chinese students online. I can create bespokes lessons or lessons for general learners of English. I produce a needs analysis based on the customer's account of their requirements. My lessons include authentic texts, such as newspaper articles, podcasts and newscasts. I can also teach English literature.
